Awsome! You can hand feed them organic peanut butter and honey. Just put some on a tooth pick. They love it.

Yeah. Just be careful and steady. Mine usually just take some with their claw, then feed it to themselves.

I wanna start off by saying maybe your crabs did eat, you just didn't see it, they are nocturnal and eat in small amounts.
My hermit crabs go CRAZY for the following, in order.
Whole Shrimps
Dried Banana
Grapes
Coconut
Strawberry
Tomato (don't offer too much)
Cucumber
Carrots
Dead Mealworms
its good to offer more than one food in the dish so the crabs can choose what they feel they want, also try buying a cuttlebone from the bird section of the pet store for $1, than grind it up in a blender and put in an empty salt shaker. Than sprinkle over various food and the hermies will get extra calcium
Works well for me as my hermit crabs don't enjoy plain cuttlebone.
Also try this, if you have a juicer, juice up some grapes and dip cuttle bone in the juice for 5 minutes than blow dry it. The crabs will enjoy the flavoured cuttlebone.
