Haha, I know what you mean Katie, I grew up in a really small country town here 2 and a 1/2 hours from Brisbane, and it could get really boring. But I must admit that I love how peaceful it is out there (my parents still live on the farm out there, I visit often

). Can only just hear a truck occasionally on the highway about 10-15km (6-10 miles probably) away on a still night, get soooo much wildlife, can have as many pets as you wany and not worry about space for them all, and can see EVERY star on clear nights. Can see stars in Brisbane, but nowhere near what it's like out home home. It's the best place to get away from it all lol

Even though we have the space, my mom won't let me get anymore pets! I've almost gotten her convinced to let me get a gecko though. But after I get the gecko, there will be no more pets for me... unless I expand my hermie pack (which I'll be doing because I'm getting a 40 gallon tank next week).

gecko's are great. especially leopard gecko's. they're so tame and have so much personality. they're also adorable
