So somehow or another I accidentally tipped a container of mealworms into my crabs tank. I managed to snag most of them, but I think about five got away.
Normally, grabbing the crabs and changing my substrate wouldn't be a problem, but both Ocarina and Kyuubi are moulting in unknown locations.
So I was just wondering, is it okay for them to be in there, and just die, or do they pose a threat to my moulting and non moulting crabs?

Pretty sure everyone's okay. I got the worms out eventually (when they turned into beatles!) but there didn't seem to be a problem!

I wouldn't think mealworms would be dangerous. They are a great diet addition for the crabs too! (dead of course lol). They are a great source of protein and chitin.
Other bugs are different story though, as Jadeoxox points out. It's always important to educate yourself on what bugs you might have if you find some in the tank, and whether they are dangerous.
