second level
Does anybody have any ideas on how to make a second level and what to make it of, in a small, already cramped 10 gallon tank?????

Re: second level
Get some suction cup soap dishes...like for the shower. There are square-ish ones, and corner ones. Or, use suction cups to attach a net, or a reptile hammock. Add vines or wood so they can climb right up.

Thats what I did, or you can get into it and make a plastic board to fit your tank top and put it in the middle and cut out a small hole and add a ladder and silicone the board to the tank and you got a full second level.

Check out the gallery for the 10 gallon tanks, you will see mine and others set ups. My crabs love my 2nd level.

I agree, in the wild the crabs are said to climb trees so I guess they like heights.Chermo wrote:Check out the gallery for the 10 gallon tanks, you will see mine and others set ups. My crabs love my 2nd level.

second level
what around the house materials could you use to make a second level? Would the plastic from a milk carton work, or would it hurt them at all?

Re: second level
Might have a sharp edge, but you could use tupperware containers or plastic bowls.
