Hi sorry to say but I struggle to see how this petition would change anything. It does not list any specific end goal, no call to action for anyone, and is in fact not addressed to anyone. Petitions are signed to show the addressee people want them to do something specific. As an attention grabber perhaps this can introduce someone to the world of hermit crabs, but as a petition, I would consider either adding that key element or moderating your hopes. Really admirable that you care enough to take the time to do this though! You have certainly done more than others just by taking some step. I think it's just a misunderstanding of what a petition is, not any lack of passion, and i admire you for caring!
