My largest crab has started fighting with one of the crabs.
The large one has been changing his shell a lot so suspect that it's his shell he's after.
Today he had the other one upside down and when I separated the little guy was totally freaked and ran round the tat for a while before finally finding a hiding spot and settling there.
Now from what I read I need to separate them but how long do I have to keep them apart? Does that stop it or will it start up again if he doesn't find that perfect shell?
Oh and that whole bathing thing is probably covered as they have a large pool they go totally under water in all the time.
The kids aren't playing nice any more.

Keep them apart until the big one stops attacking the smaller one when put together. In the mean time I'm sure you know what else to do with extra shells.

Yeah finding the shells is the hard bit. I've got plenty the size probably a couple more molts away but not so easy finding the smaller to mid size ones. None I've got are apparently quite right.

And since he has gotten crabby all of a sudden, when did he molt last? He might be crabby as a pms?
