Two months and counting, when do we start to worry?

Post by appps »

One of our new crabs that had gone under has just popped back up but Mr Lazy who went down late August is still under.

I'm starting to wonder if he's ever coming back up?

Are you sure he never surfaced and then went back down again?

Possibly a little anxious after 3 months. Like Wai asked, are you sure he didn't surface while you were sleeping or out?

Agreed, 12 weeks would be time to start possibly being concerned. But like Wai and Marie pointed out, it could be that he came up at night sometime and you didn't notice, so may not have been down for as long as you might think. Don't worry too much, and think about if the latter might be a possibility. :)

I guess it's a possibility but there really hasn't been any disturbed sand that I've noticed.
