nervous

k so i know u should never dig up crabs but im getting really nervous now..and i just want advice or encouragement or something...lewie he likes to dig but it used to be every once and a while i would see him at night...well its been at least 2 weeks and he has not been up at all...and about the molting signs im not so sure cuz i never see them eat a lot and they always like to dig but i have not seen him or seen any sign of him for at least 2 weeks and im getting nervous now...theres no fish smell but i dont know...and then benny i used to see him everynight before bed and then all of a sudden i didnt see him for 3 nights straight....i know i shouldnt dig them up..but what if something bad is going on like benny is beating up lewie or something...im just really getting nervous now...please just tell me what u think i should do..thanks

Lewie might be going for a molt, or he's just chilling out. Don't dig out either of them. Benny is probably just chilling out.

As I have posted before in response to a similar question, it's okay to dig up a crab. Be careful when you do so, just in case it has molted.

Unless your crab is very large or dead, it hasn't been down for several weeks. It will burrow to the surface once a night or every few days, store up on food, and bury itself again. If you are worried, dig around until you find your crab. No need to stress yourself out. In time, however, you will learn not to worry so much.
