So I was doing a little bit of research about Crested Geckos.
They require a temperature of 72-80 degrees, consistently and 60-80% humidity. That would be ideal for the hermit crabs as well.
They're diet is mainly fruits, veggies and small insects, all of which I feed my crabs and they lick water off leaves and have been known to lap water from shallow water dishes. With a mister or small fogger both the crabs and the gecko would be provided with a good environment.
Coconut fiber substrate is an ideal bedding for both breeds, and the height of my tank provides enough climbing room for both as well.
Several posts on the internet vouche for this mixed terrarium setup.
As long as the crabs are bigger than the lizards head, there isn't a problem.
The crabs hide as soon as the lizard comes close to it, and the crabs couldn't catch even a sleeping gecko.
Anyways I haven't done it yet, but I thought I would throw it up on this site with the more experienced crabbers just to see what you think.
Thanks for all the feedback in advance!

Re: Mixed Terrariums
I would suggest no. This had been looked into a couple years ago too.

Re: Mixed Terrariums
A good point in a couple of places, especially in terms of natural space and diseases.
Are there any more opinions? I just want to see what people think of this idea.

Re: Mixed Terrariums
If one would naturally eat the other (gecko might eat the crab?) why would you want to stress your pets out by housing them with a predator? That's my thought.
6 hermit crabs - 3 PPs and 3 Equadorians
