I give them squid and stuff and I think they like it but I am going to try to give them fresh fruit and see if they like it. Please if any one can tell me if I need to change what I am doing with them let me know. they are my babys like all my other crabs.(and my cat)

yes, they should be fine in a 10 gallon tank. they have a lot of room to play! seafood is a good idea for food. go with fresh fruit, not from canned. they also like veggies, mine love carrots and cauliflower.

yeah, but like you said, they require higher temps and humdity and more careful watch with the temp/humidity.

I had 80/80 and one still died. Somebody on another forum pretty much flipped out on me, and said I should've gradually made the humidity go up, since the pet store had low. I never knew. I did do that though. Like THEY said. And then when I posted that she had passed, she said, maybe I shoud've made it more clear, like in BOLD that you needed to do it graudally! JEEEZ! I did the very best I could!! And I thought it WAS gradual! >[

thanks. I've got a funny story

OK, so as some of you know, I got 2 new straws (my first) because I had upgraded the tank, and had perfect conditions. Well I got one, which had a jumbo shell, and he was only....medium, maybe larger small. And the other, a bigger medium, in a good shell. Well, he died. Crying or Very sad But, I boiled the shell, and put it back in, just in case somebody else wanted it. Then, for the last 3 days, the other new guy just sat in the same place, 3 days! So I thought! But that wasn't true! He had switched into THAt shell, and went underground! LOL! I was worried, for NOTHING! :D
