What species is Gilbert?

Post by erikleeson »

I couldn't find a good time to get a good picture of Gilbert, but he seems too like eating shrimp so I got a good clear photo of him.

What species is he? The Petland says they only sell Ecuadorians and one jumbo PP but then again what do Petstores know about hermit crabs :S

Although I don't want to believe the pet store clerk, I'm thinking he's an E.
What do you think?

He doesn't look like any of my PP's so I am guessing an E

Due to family issues my crabs have been adopted out to wizkidsmom (Cheryl), I know she will care for them like I did. Thanks Cheryl

I'm also assuming he's an E, his eyes are really long up close and he is WAY more active than my PP's. I also hear ruggies are active alot more too...and I agree with ImCrabby, he is very nice looking! I wonder what he'll look like after his molt whenever it comes around...
