hermie staying out of shell!!!
I'm scared! I've gotta go to school, but I only have one tank and a mini bug cage, abd when I put them together, Hershey chases the shelless Chess! Right now, she's staying in the water dish, without a shell, and Hershey is in the bug cage. SHOULD I KEEP CHESS IN THE MINI TANK WITH ALL THE SHELLS? ill be coming home for lunch at around 11:30am, so I can checkup and hopefully she'll have already chosen a shell. WHAT SHOULD I DO!

Sorry for the late reply! Chess should be with the shells and keep Hershey away from Chess. Keep the tank very humid too.

Re: hermie staying out of shell!!!
Hey! Thanks for the reply! I just came home, and she chose a shell just like her last one! The thing is, I think Hershey might have pulled Chess out because the shell she just chose is the same size, so I don't think it was because the other shell was to tight...

I guess there's not an awful lot you can do besides trying to get her into a shell yourself or just keep an eye on her.

Ok, but I'm just wondering... How are u suppose to pick them up? I'm pretty sure I heard u can do it w/ tweezers, but I think that would hurt them...? Right now, she's in one of those lil bug containers, with all the shells I have EXCEPT for the one she keeps getting in and out of... Maybe she wants the one that Hershey is wearing... ?

Ok, I now don't understand her... I just decided to put back the shell that she keeps going in and out of back in again, and she slid right in it...

I have briefly gone through your other posts and have noted you have not answered the questions in this thread:

Please do so now in case something is a midst.
Meanwhile, have you washed out her shell, shaken it in case there is something in the shell irritating her soft bottom?
