Anyone know what kind of shells Strawberries prefer?

Turbos are the cadillac of crab shells for most every crab.

Of my six straws, three have switched (and they do it all the time, back and forth) into polished and banded imperial turbos.

Thanks Kali_Ma. Where do you get Imperial Turbos? I don't think I've ever seen one. I don't have any Strawberries yet but am thinking about it and want to have everything before I get some. I also have to wait til I run into some. Haven't even ever seen one. Hope I will find some soon, I really want to see one in person.

l have never even seen any straws in person but all the pics l have seen they were in turbos. You can get some really good turbos at http://www.seashellcity.com and I since I can't get them online (not allowed) I get thme at walmart, they sell shells really cheap and they've got some really good ones.

Here's a link to some of my straws in their banded and/or plain imperial turbos:

They carry them at SeaShellCity, for sure, it's where I got mine.

They're also called Destructocrabs for a very good reason.

Little ten legged bulldozers, they are. My food dishes get buried regularly.

Hah! I have none and my food dish still gets buried weekly (almost daily, for that matter!) and there's a darn good reason I wash my crabs weekly.

It's so I have time to clean up the tank after them!!!
