Bananas are usually a hit with everyone. Raisins, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds.

They really like the "Cranraisins". Spiderman flips when I throw one in. Today is dandelion day. Fresh from the yard. :D

Silverside's are a great hit here, and the eyes always go first followed by the brain. Image

Do you cook them and if so how do you cook them? And where did you get them at?

Found a link for the Silverslides on Dr. Foster pet website. Someone said they feed their hermies those. I never heard of those but they seem to be an interesting nutritious meal for them. When my frozen shrimp is gone I will get some. Here is the link

I get mine at PetSmart and it is an 8 oz. package. (Petco sells them too, but more expensive) They are found in the freezer section and must remain frozen until they are ready to be served:

Due to them needing to remain frozen to prevent spoilage it is rare if somebody will ship them. I live almost 30 minutes from PetSmart and by the time I get home I can open the pack and use baggies to freeze individual servings. This is one food that I will NOT offer in the tank, it is an out of the tank offering only. When thawed they smell like fish (no doh) but they really begin to smell a LOT stronger the longer they are un-thawed. About 15-20 minutes on the counter and they are thawed enough for serving...

dr. fosters and smith send them overnight , the cost is $24.99 shipping so you might as well buy them somewhere else if you can find them

OUCH!!!! And chances are with the weather in U.S. the way it is now they would begin to thaw anyway. If one is limited on chain pet stores, those that sell exotic fish also carry them just look in their freezer section.
