Why is he wrecking the tank

Post by The_silliest »

I'm kinda new to owning hermit crabs and studied for them and their tank but my bigger crab wrecked it twice
He dogged around the water pools and made a mountain of substrate neext to it and ended up getting it ALL IN their food. He knocked over a climbing thing and I think he is bored because my other crab is molting

I don't know what to do plz help -.-

It’s just part of their normal behaviour as wild animals. Larger crabs are not physically stronger which means greater ability to lift and move things around.
