Hiawatha moss

Post by Merideth »

I'm getting some all natural non dyed hiawatha moss from a supplier I found. What i need to know, though is how best to set it up. I"m not wanting to do a typical moss pit so to speak...what i wanted to do was find a way to spread it out on my second floor, which is going to be a hemp net. I'm wondering if that's possible, or if you all have a good idea for me there. I'm thinking I might need to put something up there to help keep it from falling through the holes.

Well what size of hemp net is it? Like how big are the wholes? (i have seen some with 1inch holes and some with 1cm holes) If the holes on the hemp net is small then you wouldn't realy have a problem with them fallen threw. Or you could find a shalow plastic dish that you could put the moss in on top of the net.
