Well in 9 days i will be leaving for 2 nights and am looking for some advice.
I will be leaving sometime on monday then i will be back sometime on wensday. I am not worried about the heat because i have a UTH with a thermostat but i am worried about the humidaty. Right now i have been useing a reptile fogger and that works nicely but i wont be here to turn it on/off when i need to. Was going to buy a timer for the fogger but i wont have enough time to get it here and to test it. So i was wondering does anyone have a idea that would help keep the humidaty up? Then the next problem is food, I have found that broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, pumpkin seeds, and freeze dryed blood worms rot the slowest. So i think i will just add all five of those iteams in the food dish before i leave.
Do you not have supermarkets nearby? Our sell timers with the light bulbs so if you do that would be quicker than post.
Along with fresh food I give mine a mix of parrot seed, dried shrimp and a parrot maintenance pellet and tropical fish food. Because they are all dry foods they are great for when I go on holidays and don't want to leave fresh food in the tank.
